Birthday and then some...

So having two kids to look after has left me with less time to blog. Sorry about that! Needless to say, things have been pretty busy around the Hart house! Grady is doing super. He's been a good baby...he only gets fussy when he's hungry, he's getting a descent amount of sleep each night and he's tolerating his big sister's antics. Taylor has tested (and continues to test) her limits when it comes to Grady...several times! Every now and then she'll get a wild hair and want to tug on him or poke him. She's made him cry several times...mostly on purpose. I think she's testing out the cause-and-effect concept (i.e., she throws a ball at his head and Grady cries)!

Not to give Taylor a completely bad rap. She's mainly really sweet to Grady, and is a very big helper when it comes to changing his diapers or giving him a bath. Whenever someone comes to our house, the first thing that she does is to point out where the baby is. I guess she wants everyone to know about her baby. Taylor even does it to Tyson when he gets home from work. It's pretty funny.

Taylor just recently celebrated her second birthday. We had a nice, relaxing day with Mimi and Poppa, Nana and Doodah, and Haley and Ryan. Our good friend, Kemp, also made it to the party. Kemp brought his two dogs and Haley and Ryan brought theirs, so it was more of a dog party than anything.....which was totally up Taylor's alley! She loved having dogs everywhere. I think if it were up to her, we'd be swimming up to our ears in dogs!

I'm kind of behind on blogging, too. The first group of pictures is of Taylor playing at Mimi and Poppa's house. She stayed with them for several days after we brought Grady home from the hospital. Taylor had a wonderful time with her grandparents and Gabby, of course!

Nana came up to Henrietta to help out with the kiddos after Tyson went back to work the week before Taylor's birthday. Taylor had a great time playing with Nana, and I know that Nana had just as much fun as Taylor did. It was also nice having a set of extra hands to help out with Grady, as well.
