Fun Times

The 10-month stage has been so much fun!! Taylor is such a silly little girl. She giggles all of the time. She absolutely adores Belle! Her little face just lights up when Belle walks in the room. Taylor tries really hard to play with Belle, but Belle is much too fast! Taylor's favorite thing to do with Belle is to feed her. She just holds her hands out from her high chair and Belle does the rest!

The other day Tyson and I took Taylor to Toys R Us and she had a blast. She loved looking at all of the toys. Tyson started bouncing a ball around and Taylor started laughing....really loud! So we picked out several different colors of balls and had Taylor choose the one she wanted....and she chose the pink one!! It looks like we're going to have a girly-girl!! When we got home we played with her pink ball for about ten minutes...and then Belle popped it!! So much for that! We bought her another ball the next day. We'll see how long this one lasts!

She had her first temper tantrum at Toys R Us, too. I showed her a puzzle and when I took it away from her, she started crying---really loud!! And she wasn't easy to calm down. Oh brother....I have a feeling she'll be doing that quite a bit!

As for getting around....Taylor can crawl very fast now. She can pull herself up onto anything. And she even "walked" a little bit the other day. She was helping me do laundry, when she discovered that, while standing, she could push the clothes basket around the floor. So Tyson grabbed the other end of the basket and slowly pulled it. Taylor just followed it along like it was no problem!

Taylor's trying to play with Belle's toy....but she kept getting mad at Belle for not sharing.

Taylor gets the biggest kick out of feeding Belle. Belle seems to like it, too!

Taylor's new ball!!

Already practicing her dribbling skills!

More Family!

Four days after the Harts left, Nana came to see Taylor. A day after Nana got here, Doodah came!! Nana stayed for six days, while Doodah stayed for three. The days when Doodah was here we didn't do too much....mainly just hung around the house and watched Taylor play. We did get to go out to eat while Doodah was here....and everyone was impressed (and entertained) by Taylor's restaurant manners.

When it was just Nana, we actually did some shopping and got out of the house! Nana volunteered to watch Taylor one night so that Tyson and I could go out on a date. We had a nice time...and I know that Nana had fun watching Taylor. She somehow managed to teach Taylor how to fake a cough. Now when anyone coughs (for real or not), Taylor follows it by doing her fake cough! It's pretty funny.

We've had a fun two weeks full of visitors! Taylor already misses everyone. It's always fun playing with new people!! Or at least playing with someone other than her mom and dad!!

Having fun with Nana and Doodah while out to eat!

Let's do something Nana!!

Taylor wanted to show Nana and Doodah her red wagon. The faster that she went, the more fun she had!

Taylor was most intrigued by her daddy's skateboard.

Taylor has figured out that Doodah is a good leaning/napping buddy!

Taylor has been making this face for about two weeks now. It's such silly face!

Nana took this picture of Taylor....this is her typical face as she's trying to climb into your lap.

A houseful of Harts!

Taylor's Mimi and Poppa, Granny and Grandaddy, and Aunt Patty came to visit this past weekend. We had such a fun time! They came in on Friday evening just in time for dinner. Mimi had the most yummy apple pie shipped in from Missouri for Tyson's upcoming birthday. This was no ordinary apple pie.....it was at least 12 inches high!! And the caramel pecan sauce that covered it was to die for!! After eating, we spent the rest of the night watching Taylor do her tricks! Everyone seemed pretty impressed at her crawling and waving abilities. The next morning, Tyson and his dad (Poppa) went goose hunting, while the rest of the gang hung out with me and Taylor. That afternoon, we all drove out to Brownfield to visit with Granny and Grandaddy's good friends Max and Janice Grice. It was fun hearing all of the funny stories that Max and Grandaddy told. Later that night, we went to dinner to celebrate Tyson's birthday at a very nice steak house. The food was tasty and everyone seemed to have a great time! On Sunday morning, everyone came back to our house for breakfast and then headed back to Dallas. We were sad to see them go!! It's always so fun to have people come visit us out here.

Mimi and her two girls!

Such squirmy girls!

Taylor and Poppa watching Belle and Gabby play.

Look! I pooped out a Poppa!!

Taylor really enjoyed reading with Aunt Patty.

Mimi's cheering on Taylor for pulling herself up.

Granny loves holding her great granddaughter!

Grandaddy loves his great granddog!! Ha ha!

Taylor insisted that Granny pick her up!

Gabby, Belle and Tyson provided plenty of entertainment!
