Grady's Here!

Grady Tyson Hart was born on March 11, weighing 7 lb 5 oz and 20 in. long. He is absolutely perfect and is such a cutie. He looks NOTHING like his big sister!! And so far, he acts nothing like his big sister did when she was a newborn. He's eating very well and is letting his mommy and daddy get some sleep at night. Hopefully that will last!

Speaking of big sister, Taylor is doing terrific. She was a hoot at the hospital the whole time we were there. The day that Grady was born she was wearing a T-shirt that her Aunt Kelley had made for her. It had "Big Sister" monogrammed on it...and Taylor was so proud of that. Every time someone would ask her what her name was, she would look down at her shirt and point to "Big Sister!" Such a silly girl.

The day after we got home from the hospital, Uncle Doug, Aunt Kelley and cousin Jack came to visit us. As always, Taylor and Jack were hilarious together! Jack taught Taylor how to "shake-and-bake" like they do in "Talladega Nights," and Taylor taught Jack how to howl like a coyote. It was non-stop action the entire time Jack was here...which was perfect for Taylor. She didn't have much time to dwell on the fact that her little world was changing drastically with a new baby in her house!

Tyson and I would like to say a BIG, BIG thanks to our parents for taking care of Taylor, Belle and Sparky while we were at the hospital. I know that Taylor had a great time playing with all of her grandparents at the same time!

Daddy getting ready for the delivery.

Meet Grady!

All bundled up.

Our sweet family!

Taylor's happy to be a big sister.

Trying to lick Mommy's heart monitor.

Being silly with Daddy.

Wearing a bed pan/throw-up bucket (or whatever it is!) on her head.
No worries...it was never used!!

Taylor's helping feed her baby brother....she's such a big helper!
