Jackson, Mimi's b-day and more...

Sorry that I haven't blogged lately. Just busy!! Here's a brief rundown of the pictures below...

Taylor stayed at Nana and Doodah's house for about a week, and mid-way through the week, my nephew, Jackson, stayed with them. Needless to say, Nana had her hands full!! Nana and Doodah drove up to Henrietta to drop Taylor off, with Jackson in tow. They stayed over one night and then headed back to Pasadena. While here, the two cousins were non-stop! They had a great time playing together.

We recently went to Allen to celebrate Father's Day and Mimi's "surprise" birthday. Haley, Ryan, Poppa, Tyson and I thought we were being so sneaky in throwing her a surprise party, but she had it figured out several days prior to the big event...or so she says! We had a great time visiting with all of the family and friends that made it to the party. We need to have more reasons to get together more often!

Grady's becoming such a big boy. He's rolling over, sleeping through the night (mostly), and is just growing up! It's so much fun. Exhausting, but fun! I love babies!! Especially since they can't say "NO" yet!!

Taylor and Jack monkeying around.

Playing ball. Taking turns was very hard for both of them...
each of them wanted to hit the ball all of the time!

Jack LOVES playing with balls!

Picking wild flowers together.

A herd of elephants!

Grady's getting so big! He really likes to be on his tummy now....
I guess he enjoys the change in scenery!

What cuties!

Taylor's "funny face!" She loves making this face...and she's quite good at it!

Mommy's little heart-breaker!

Happy Birthday Mimi!

Pasa-get-down-dena visit

We spent several days visiting with Nana and Doodah in Pasadena. We had a really good time hanging out and visiting with family members. Nana and Doodah's dog, Cody, seems to bring out the craziness in Taylor....so she was pretty much a nut the whole time we were there. We were able to spend lots of time outside, which made Taylor very happy. We haven't been able to go outside much lately b/c of the mosquitos....so we've all been feeling a little couped up!

We went to the Kemah Boardwalk one evening and had a nice time. We ate at the Aquarium restaurant....which was fun. The food was good, but the atmosphere was very cool. Taylor wanted to look at the BIG fish the entire time we were there. We had a hard time keeping her in her chair long enough to eat. After dinner, we walked around the boardwalk, rode some rides and danced the night away----ok, so Taylor danced the night away! She'll just bust a move whereever she's at...she doesn't care who's around! Crazy girl!

Grady's having fun swinging a balloon.

Riding with Daddy (Tyson had more fun on this thing
than Taylor did!).

Beep beep!

Best friends

Making "grass" angels!

Enjoying his time outside.

Sitting on the potty (too bad it's not for real!).

Posing with Nana and Doodah by the BIG fishies at the Aquarium restaurant. Taylor only wanted to see the big fish (the smaller fish weren't that interesting to her!).

Nana and Taylor showing their "shark" faces.

Dancing on the Kemah Boardwalk.

Woo hoo! Taylor loved riding the mini-ferris wheel.

She also had fun riding on the carousel.

Memorial Day Weekend

We spent Memorial Day weekend in Allen with Mimi and Poppa. Tyson and I had a great time relaxing, and Taylor had a great time playing with her Mimi and Poppa. I think she gets a little sillier after she leaves their house. Taylor really likes performing for her grandparents...and they like it, too! Grady was just as sweet as ever. He's still not doing many tricks yet...but he sure is cute!

Playing in Mimi's cool pirate swimming pool.

Looking through binoculars (backwards, of course!).

Having a sword fight with Daddy.

She's definitely the captain!

Too cool for the shades!

Sweet little Grady...crashed out as usual!

Riding on a duckie at the park.

Swinging on the world's largest little kid swing!
