Taylor's 3rd Birthday

Taylor had a great birthday party.  All of her "friends" came.....as she refers to all of her party-goers.  She got soooo much good stuff!  I don't know who's more excited...me or her!!  Our good friends, Matt and Tammy, came with their 18-month old son, Tanner....who turned out to be the life of the party!!  He's such a cutie!!  As always, we had a great time celebrating with all of our family members that came (Haley & Ryan, Patty, Mimi & Poppa, Nana & Doodah, and Jackson).  The only one that didn't have a great time was Grady.  He was pretty grumpy the whole time.  I'm going to blame it on teething!!

The night before the party....Jackson and Taylor had a big case of the sillies!!

Ladybugs have invaded the party!

Ladybug cupcakes.

Taylor was really excited about all of her presents.

Grady was so happy that Taylor got a Dora coloring book.  This was about the only time the entire party that Grady was happy.  He wasn't much of the party-goer this time around.

Finally the part she'd been waiting for....cupcakes!!

Hope her wish comes true!

The gang really started to have fun once the party moved outside!

Taylor and Jack checking out the live ladybugs that Nana brought.

Taylor LOVED the ladybugs!!

Finding one lucky ladybug a new home.

Even Tanner got in on the ladybug action.  Of course, we had to watch him closely to make sure he didn't eat any!!

Tanner is just too precious!!

 Sporting some silly ladybug glasses.

 Two silly cousins!

One very happy birthday girl!!

Easter

Easter came and Easter went.  And it was fun!  We had a great Easter in Henrietta.  Taylor and I dyed eggs, Tyson and Grady watched.  Truth be told, Grady was more interested in tearing down our whole egg-dying operation, so we put him to bed early!!  We got up early the next morning, opened our Easter baskets, hunted eggs and then went to church.  Taylor and Grady got to participate in another egg hunt at church, so they really had fun!

Hard at work painting an egg.

Such a good little egg painter!

Done decorating eggs....more interested in playing with the stamps!
All done!!  Now just waiting for the Easter bunny!

Grady really liked waking up to a basket full of goodies!

Happy happy boy!

Sleeping beauty!

Grady getting all tangled up in a slinky!

Taylor getting some eggs.

Grady getting an egg.....only b/c we made him!!
He really didn't care about the whole egg-hunting thing!

After he got this one, he promptly threw it in his basket.
That was the last egg he collected!

At least Taylor enjoyed hunting the eggs!
