Random Winter Pics

Not too much to report right now. We're very busy working on the house, so we haven't had much time to snap some pictures of Taylor. She's been a good sport about all of the changes we're making. Tyson and I work mostly at night after she's gone to bed, so she wakes up to something different most mornings!

Taylor's doing great. She's really starting to talk...and we can actually understand some of the things she's saying! She loves watching "The Jungle Book" right now...especially the scenes where the characters sing and dance. Her favorite part of the movie is when the elephants march around. She starts crawling around on the ground, makes her own elephant sound (including lifting her arm up in the air to mimic an elephant's trunk) and says "hup, two, three, four" just like the head elephant does. It's pretty funny to watch.

Enjoying a nice afternoon outside.

Pointing out some birds flying by.

Always on the move!

Being silly...

Always being silly!

Work day around the house...Taylor had to dress like Daddy.

On cold days we have to find ways to entertain Taylor.
Here, Tyson and Taylor are playing "I Spy."

Practicing their crow calls.

Christmas

Sorry that I'm just now getting around to posting Christmas stuff! We're right in the middle of some house renovations, so any free time that I have I spend doing house stuff!! Also, I had to wait to get pictures from Nana and Mimi because our camera died about two days before Christmas....yay. So my apologies for the lack of pictures!

We had a great, great Christmas. Seems like all we did was travel! We started out at Mimi and Poppa's house in Allen. While there, we swung by Aunt Patty's house in Irving to spend an early Christmas with the Hart-side of the family. From there, we headed to Temple to spend Christmas Eve and Day with the Griffins. Later Christmas Day we headed to Houston to hang out with the Crumplers.

I think the funnest part of the whole trip was watching Taylor and her cousin Jack play together. They are so different....Jack is truly a wild man, while Taylor is a bit more reserved (at least around Jack she is!). I wish we lived closer to Aunt Kelley, Uncle Doug and Jackson so the kids could play together more often.

Sitting pretty on Aunt Patty's couch.

Working on her poses.

Opening a gift from her great-Granny.

Getting some XBox instructions from cousin Josh.

Feeling confident with the controls...

And now ready to play!

Opening a present from Mimi and Poppa.

It's a pony!

Wearing her cool A&M beanie hat from Uncle Pat.

Getting a push from cousin Jack.

Ready to bust open her present from Aunt Kelley, Uncle Doug and Jack.

Two cute cousins.
